How it works

From repository to a live address in three steps

Alkimist sets up the server, generates the build and deployment settings, and runs every release through the same health-checked pipeline.

    Connect your code

    Pick a repository from GitHub or GitLab, paste any Git URL, or point at a prebuilt container image. How to build and run it is detected for you.

  2. Step 2

    Add a server

    Add any VPS or bare-metal machine you can reach over SSH. Alkimist uses a generated deployment key, prepares the server for releases, and keeps it yours.

  3. Step 3

    Deploy, then just push

    Deploy once from the dashboard. Turn on automatic deploys and every push to your branch builds, passes its health check and goes live without downtime.

How does the per-VPS pricing work?

Plans are billed per VPS you connect — Basic is $5/month per VPS and Pro is $10/month per VPS with AI agent access and faster support. Every plan includes unlimited projects per VPS, with no seat fees and no per-deploy charges.

Do you host my applications?

No. Alkimist orchestrates deployments to servers you own — DigitalOcean, Hetzner, Vultr, Linode, or anything reachable over SSH. You pay your provider directly for the VPS itself, so there is zero vendor lock-in.

Can I add or remove VPS at any time?

Yes. Connect or remove servers whenever you like — your subscription simply adjusts to the number of VPS you run.

What happens to my apps if I cancel?

They keep running. Everything is deployed on your own infrastructure with standard tooling, so your apps are unaffected. You only lose the orchestration dashboard, the AI assistant, and automated deploys.

Which frameworks are supported?

All of them. Any language or framework that runs in a container works: Alkimist detects how to build and run your code, or uses the Dockerfile, Docker Compose file or prebuilt image you provide.

Which databases are supported?

Every application can use managed or external PostgreSQL, MySQL, MariaDB, MongoDB, and SQLite, plus Redis or Valkey for caching. Alkimist injects standard connection URLs and environment variables automatically.

Do you offer team or enterprise plans?

Yes — unlimited VPS, team access, an MCP server for AI agents, and priority support. and we'll tailor a plan to your team.
