From signup to a verified deployment

The shortest safe path: one selected repository, one VPS, one generated deployment key, and one health-checked release.

  1. 1

    Create your account

No invite or early-access approval is required. Confirm your email, then choose a paid plan.

  2. 2

    Subscribe

Choose a plan from Billing. Pricing is based on the number of VPS servers connected to your account.

  3. 3

    Select a repository

Install the GitHub App and choose only the repository you want to deploy. GitLab and public repository URLs are also supported.

  4. 4

    Generate a deployment key

Use Account → SSH keys. Alkimist generates a dedicated ED25519 key; it never asks for your personal private key.

  5. 5

    Authorize a VPS

Add the server IP, then run the displayed command once on the VPS to install the generated public key.

  6. 6

    Deploy and verify

Create the project, set required environment variables, and deploy. Alkimist builds, checks the configured health endpoint, streams logs, and records the release for rollback.

Before deploying: your app should listen on 0.0.0.0, expose a health endpoint (preferably /up), and read secrets from environment variables rather than committed files.
